This Returns and Refunds Policy applies to eligible purchases made through SmokersAbbey.com. Purchases made at a Smokers Abbey retail location may be subject to the return policy communicated at that location.
Please review this policy before completing your purchase. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms below.
Return Period
Eligible products may be returned within 30 days after delivery. We cannot accept a return requested more than 30 days after the order was delivered.
To qualify for a return, an eligible product must be:
- unused, unopened, and in the same condition in which it was received;
- in its original packaging, with all tags, labels, accessories, manuals, and components included;
- accompanied by a receipt, order number, or other proof of purchase; and
- approved for return by Smokers Abbey before it is mailed or delivered to us.
Please do not send a product back to its manufacturer or mail a return to Smokers Abbey without first contacting us.
Non-Returnable Products
For product-integrity, health, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following products are final sale and cannot ordinarily be returned or exchanged:
- cigars, pipe tobacco, and other tobacco or nicotine products;
- opened boxes, bundles, tins, packs, samplers, or other tobacco packaging;
- food, beverages, and other consumable or perishable products;
- alcoholic beverages;
- gift cards and store credit;
- digital or downloadable products;
- personal-care, sanitary, or intimate-use products;
- flammable liquids, gases, hazardous materials, and certain lighter fuels;
- customized, personalized, or special-order products;
- clearance, closeout, discontinued, or otherwise marked final-sale products; and
- products that have been used, altered, damaged after delivery, or returned without their original packaging and components.
This restriction does not prevent you from contacting us if an item arrived damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery. If a product arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us within seven days after delivery.
Include the following information with your request:
- your name and order number;
- a description of the problem;
- photographs of the product, packaging, shipping box, and shipping label when applicable; and
- whether you are requesting a replacement or refund.
We may request additional information or ask that the product and its packaging be retained while we review the issue. Depending on availability and the circumstances, we may offer a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or refund to the original payment method.
How to Request a Return
Before sending an eligible product back, submit a request through our contact page.
Please provide:
- your name;
- your order number;
- the product you wish to return;
- the reason for the return; and
- photographs when the product is damaged or defective.
If the return is approved, we will provide return instructions. Products sent to us without prior authorization may be refused or returned to the sender.
Return Shipping
Unless the return is caused by our error or by a product arriving damaged or defective, you are responsible for all return-shipping costs.
Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless required by law or unless the return resulted from an error by Smokers Abbey.

Do not mail a return until you have received authorization and return instructions from us.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for products of significant value. You are responsible for the returned product until it is delivered to us. Smokers Abbey cannot guarantee receipt of a package that does not have valid delivery tracking.
Return Inspection
After receiving a return, we will inspect it to confirm that it meets the eligibility requirements described in this policy.
We will notify you whether the return has been approved or rejected. A return may be rejected or reduced if the product:
- is used, opened, altered, or damaged;
- is missing packaging, parts, labels, or accessories;
- is not eligible for return under this policy;
- was sent after the applicable return period;
- was not purchased from Smokers Abbey; or
- was returned without authorization or adequate proof of purchase.
When appropriate, we may offer a partial refund reflecting diminished value rather than rejecting the return entirely. We will communicate any proposed adjustment before completing the refund.
Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
After we approve a return, please allow several business days for us to submit the refund. Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional processing time before the credit appears in your account.
Shipping charges, expedited-delivery fees, gift wrapping, and similar service charges are generally non-refundable unless the order was incorrect, damaged, or defective because of our error.
We reserve the right to issue store credit instead of a refund when:
- the original payment method is unavailable;
- the return is made without adequate proof of purchase;
- the product was received as a gift; or
- store credit was agreed upon as part of the return authorization.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have received confirmation that a refund was issued but it has not appeared:
- Review the account associated with the original payment method.
- Contact your credit-card company or payment provider, as processing may take several business days.
- Contact your bank to ask whether the refund is pending.
If you have completed these steps and still cannot locate the refund, contact us through our contact page and include your order number and refund confirmation.
Exchanges
Eligible products may be exchanged when they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, subject to product availability.
We do not guarantee that an identical replacement will be available. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer a comparable product, store credit, or a refund.
For ordinary preference-based exchanges, such as selecting a different eligible accessory, contact us within the 30-day return period. You may be responsible for returning the original product and paying any price difference and additional shipping charges.
Sale and Clearance Products
Products identified as clearance, closeout, discontinued, promotional final sale, or otherwise marked “final sale” cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
A product is not necessarily final sale merely because a temporary discount or coupon was applied. The product page or checkout information will indicate when an item is specifically designated as final sale.
Gifts
If a product was identified as a gift and shipped directly to the recipient, an approved return may be refunded as store credit to the recipient.
If the purchaser had the order shipped to themselves before giving it to the recipient, any approved refund will ordinarily be issued to the original purchaser and original payment method.
Gift cards themselves are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
Order Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order. We will attempt to accommodate the request, but we cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has entered processing or has been shipped.
If an order has already shipped, it will be subject to the eligibility requirements and return procedures in this policy.
Refused and Undeliverable Packages
If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned because the address supplied during checkout was inaccurate or incomplete, we may deduct the original shipping charge, return-shipping charge, carrier fees, and other direct costs from any refund.
Non-returnable products that are refused or undeliverable may not qualify for a refund.
Shipping Delays and Unavailable Products
If we cannot ship an order within the timeframe stated during checkout or in our communications, we may contact you to obtain consent to a delay, offer an alternative, or cancel and refund the affected portion of the order.
If an ordered product is unavailable and no acceptable substitute is agreed upon, we will refund the amount paid for the unavailable product, including applicable charges that must be refunded.
Retail-Store Purchases
This policy primarily governs purchases made through SmokersAbbey.com. Items purchased at a physical Smokers Abbey location should ordinarily be returned to the location where they were purchased and may be subject to the policy displayed or communicated at that location.
Bring the item and the original receipt or other proof of purchase. Tobacco products, consumables, gift cards, and products marked final sale remain non-returnable unless damaged, defective, or sold incorrectly.
Abuse and Fraud Prevention
Smokers Abbey reserves the right to reject a return, exchange, or refund request that appears fraudulent, abusive, inconsistent with this policy, or associated with repeated misuse of our return process.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights or remedies available under applicable law.
